I’ve always said that if I go to Australia I want to go for at least six weeks. A friend of mine, Larry Jackson from Texas, offered me the opportunity to join him on a trip to the outback but as I already had a trip to the Arctic planned it was a bit tight to fit it in. After some adjusting of my schedule I managed to fit it in a gap in August so booked the flights and Australia here I come.
Trip didn’t quite work out as well as I expected and it was disappointing that the wildlife was not quite as abundant as I thought and I actually managed to spend nearly three weeks in Oz and didn’t see a Kangaroo. Many of the wildlife sighting were opportunistic and some days were not very successful.
Anyway, that’s Australia visited so now I can say I have been to every continent.
