In late February/early March I spent two weeks in Florida, primarily for photographing Roseate Spoonbill. As well as visiting Sarasota, Venice and Fort Myers down on the Gulf coast I also visited New Smyrna on the East coast which was great for gulls, terns and lots of other waders.
Big thanks to Bob Salyer for getting me out on his boat to see lots of wildlife on and around the mangroves of Sarasota.
